Metal Braces

Traditional metal brackets are the most common type of braces today. Made of high-grade stainless steel, metal brackets are designed to be lower profile and more comfortable than ever before. Patients can choose from our variety of color rubber bands for a unique and colorful smile for every occasion!

Ceramic Braces

Ceramic brackets are tooth colored and thus more cosmetically appealing than the metal brackets. These esthetic brackets are made of hard, clear material that is more brittle than metal brackets. Due to their capacity to chip teeth in a deep bite patient, ceramic braces tend to be used more on the upper teeth. Patients can choose either our ivory/tooth color rubber bands for an esthetic look or color rubber bands for a unique eye popping style!

Invisalign®

Invisalign is the newest technology and a force to be reckoned with in orthodontics. The orthodontist configures a plan on how to straighten your teeth with a series of clear, removable aligners. You can eat and drink whatever you want while in treatment and can brush and floss as easily as before starting treatment. Aligners must be worn 20-22 hours per day to achieve the best results. Not all cases are appropriate for Invisalign, and your specific case will be evaluated for Invisalign at the consultation visit.

Retainers

Retainers are crucial for maintaining your smile post-braces, ensuring it remains as straight and beautiful as day one. Riverdale Family Orthodontics offers both fixed and removable retainers, along with replacement services for any damaged or broken retainers. If you need a new retainer or have questions about which retainer is right for you and how to wear it, contact us, and we’ll be happy to help you out.

TADs

Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs) are the latest technological addition that help speed up the process of tooth movement while undergoing orthodontic treatment. TADs can even help to move stubborn teeth into place through proper placement of mini-screws or implants in the jawbone.

This is a temporary addition to your treatment and the implants and/or screws will be removed once your treatment period is complete. Dr. Woo will be happy to discuss this type treatment with you and will determine if you may be a good candidate for this procedure.
